Too pregnant… *Gasp*

Posted at 10:54 pm under Uncategorized

Twins!! Can you believe it? Yeah, I know I haven’t been around for like six months but pregnancy is rough and I’m sooooo crippled. Been down with some hard-core heart misbehaviors but fear not, none of that stuff is dangerous. Keeps me too lightheaded to think straight but it won’t kill me. But my heart is starting to quiet down and I’m beginning to feel slightly human. Albeit a very over-stuffed human being! I’m in my 6th month but look like I’m at least TEN months along!!!!! I’m due at the end of January with a scheduled c-section since I can’t get babies out the regular way.

TWINS!! It’s just so cool! Two babies for the price of one pregnancy. A bargan if I ever saw one! Erlend is just as thrilled.

Elspeth is doing great! She had her first birthday at the end of October ~ a strange day because it’s also the day her grandmother died in 2005. (My mum, not Erlend’s.) Elspeth is standing up now so any day she’ll be walking. She loves to chatter away and she says a lot of cute things like, “Light on!” and she blows when she sees a candle. (Or I say “candle” haha!)  Me and Erlend are having so much fun being parents. Elspeth is a joy to have in our lives and we can’t wait to add these next two into the fray! Hopefully Elspeth won’t mind too much???

Ok, time for bed. This beached whale of a too-pregnant woman (can’t…breathe…no…room…for…lungs…) doesn’t have the stamina to stay awake much at all haha! And it’s going on 11 so I’m about to keel over!

Cheerio fae noo! :-)

Good luck for the next 3 months - and the many years of joy thereafter!

All the best, I hope all goes well for you.

Congratulations, Moo, hope the rest of your pregnancy goes well! This must throw the whole pram/buggy seat/ double buggy problem into a bit of a spin??

Congrats! I am just glad that you are ok! I was wondering if something had happened. I’m glad it’s _just_ twins :)

Congratulations, Moo, and I wish you all the best. LL, I think Moo will be going for the people-carrier version of the buggy. Possibly you can get a tractor accessory that will do the job :-) Good luck!

Such stupendous news! What a busy family you will be with three littlies, but how much fun you will be able to extract from the interaction.
Maybe a sled for transportation? Seriously Moo, you will be so very busy … keep your sense of humour alive. Good luck, best wishes.

A sort of buy-one-get-one-free scenario! I like the idea of a tractor attachment for multi-buggies, you could get your own customised tractor and go anywhere with it!

I was thinking maybe I can try and find a rickshaw on Ebay??

Heard the news about the twins on the local grapevine .. You must both be soooo chuffed ! Congrats to you both (mostly you of course, cos youre doing the hard work part of the deal ! )
    Keep Smiling :)

Oh! A rickshaw? I thought they were people drawn?
My Man suggests a shopping trolley … babes in the trolley part, on a mattress of course, and Elspeth in the little seat?

plaid: I am sure Erland is more than willing to either– run pulling the rickshaw or be on his bike pulling it,being the loving husband we know he is.

Yes Plaid, but where will Moo put her frozen peas if the babes are in the shopping trolley? If she’s having a c-section she’ll not be needing to sit on them…
