Look at these sweet baby booties!
We were given a lovely gift the other day from our friends Rachel and Malcom ~ hand knitted wool booties for our winter weans! They are so sweet and soft. I can’t wait to put them on two pairs of tiny newborn feet.
By the way, for those of you that might be interested: Malcome and Rachel have a lovely website where they are sharing great frugal, “good stewardship” ideas and tips, complete even with video instructions sometimes! They’ve stareted something called, “The Touchwood Project.” Really interesting! Not one bit preachy or radical while deffinately informative and helpful. Their website address is:
Even if you aren’t sure, it’s still worth a look.
Cheerio for noo! Time to get Elspethy changed and ready for a sook and a kip. :-) (I’ll just conveniently kip with her hahha!)

Oh aren’t you sweet. We’re so glad you appreciate them — they’re made from Orkney Angora yarn, so hopefully the little ones will stay nice and warm. Take good care of yourself!
Also loving the braided rug book you sent. Definitely want to make some of these, so will do so as soon as we have more wool and a bit of time.
how did Elspeth’s hospital visit go, Moo?
Orkney angora! No wonder they are so soft!
Elspethy’s hospital visit went very well. Erlend said she never fussed or got upset and was charming everyone to bits. He had me laughing as he related how while Elspeth was having her EEG scan, every time she made a move towards the probes on her head the EEG wife would whip out yet another loud, obnoxious blinking-lights-and-music toy. Erlend said that by the time they were done Elspeth was totally wiped out from all of the playing, videos, lights, and books! I would say they sure know what they are doing with kids at the Children’s hospital haha!
When will you get the results?
Have you had the results yet??? please let us know–they seem to be taking their time,or perhaps you are too tired to let us know
